About CSI

George H. Carlson, Jr., managing broker, founder and president of Conversion Specialists, Inc. (dba CSI, Inc.), has been in the real estate industry for the past 48 years. Mr. Carlson has been a real estate broker in the states of Illinois, Indiana, Missouri, and Ohio and is a Graduate of the Real Estate Institute of Illinois (GRI). He has vast experience in single-family and condominium residential, commercial, and multi-family properties.

George is the co-founder of Carlson Investments, Inc. and Comprehensive Management Services, Inc. These entities were formed to specialize in the purchase and management of apartment properties. He has been responsible for the marketing and leasing for a property portfolio in excess of more than 10,000 apartment units in nine states throughout the Midwest and Florida.

Along with traditional residential, multi-family, and commercial real estate sales, Mr. Carlson has also sold a number of bank-owned (REO) and short sale residential homes and condos in the Chicagoland area.  CSI, Inc. currently lists, sells, manages and leases properties for over 100 individual real estate Investors. CSI has vast experience in the conversion of select apartment communities to condominiums. CSI, Inc. was formed to exclusively market condominium conversions and its associated brokerage.

CSI real estate offices are located in Palatine and Schaumburg, Illinois.
